Most people who run small businesses recognize that it can have a rather inconsistent approach to marketing. That is when they have time or when sales are down and this makes a feast or famine situation – or you're doing excellent or you're scratching around businesses.

So what can do if you are a small company without a dedicated marketing team?

Well, the answer is to systematize your marketing and even their sales process. This is not as complicated as you might reckon. I guess you have certain sales and marketing activities that are not really unique. For example, someone visits your page web and is interested in more information to send an email to the address on your 'Contact Us' page. Whether you then you will have the sale process, and if they choose to buy this time, someone has to remember to contact them again at a shortly date.

All this can be automated.

The conclusion is that if you make any marketing activity more than once probably can automate or partially automate.

Many marketing of software packages can do any of the following:

* Capture data from the contact persons and add to your database opt-in
* Involuntarily send an e-mail with the information you have requested
* Follow up with them to see if they have questions
* E-mail with your latest offers
* Send out and sign the
* Schedule of marketing messages season weeks or months in advance
* And many, many more

We use a package called 1shoppingcart to automate our own marketing activities and much more cost effective than trying to do all these activities manually. It gives us more time to spend with our clients.

If yours is a people-all ears companies and their customers and clients to see who they are dealing, you can record a video to share their sales presentations or to share thoughts with them. YouTube is filled with informercials and demonstrations of lots and lots of companies.

Automating your marketing can take some plotting time, but really worth it if you can place at the time to do it now.
