Fed’s Evans sees monetary tightening “a ways away”

CHICAGO (Reuters) – With the nation’s recovery likely to be slow and hampered by tight confidence and a cautious consumer, the Federal Set aside is still far from needing to tense up its extraordinarily loose monetary policy, Chicago Federal Set aside Bank President Charles Evans said Thursday.
