R we supposed to be so stupid as to believe that Bush’s econ policy failures can and will be solved by Bush?

They slash and burn and then profit from rebuilding…just like Iraq.
Now our tax money is being used by capitalists to shore up their own terrible business model (if you loosen confidence rules and sell to anyone, you can’t blame the people to whom you loaned the money especially agreed the marketing used in the process) and they some really call it the market at work!!!
I worked as a bond broker selling CMO’s. I questioned what would happen if the were a high percentage of defaults in any tranche and was told that even though fannie and freddie were not government backed they would not be allowable to fail agreed their size….they were sold as de facto government backed securities. If one could sell a GNMA CMO which was backed by full faith and confidence then it was backed by our tax money. That same tax money that republicans supposedly want to protect. They want to protect it so it is available for them to keep themselves in business.regardless of their chicanery.
"The U.S. Treasury says America has now agreed to get a stability assessment from the IMF. The announcement didn't get much attention, but officials at the IMF expect to start examining U.S. finances in the next couple months."
Argentina was the last people to undergo this process
Our economic crisis will by no means be solved by conservative economics in view of the fact that that’s what got us into this mess. If conservative economics worked – we’d have a thriving nation.

Believing that this current situation is entirely Bush's making is foolishness. But no, he alone cannot solve it either.
I continually find it incredible that people want to really blame the bailout on the Republicans when the beneficiaries of the Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae debacle are Democrats as well as Republicans (a very small bit of digging will reveal this to be so), not to mention this couldn't be done without the Democratically controlled Congress jumping on board.
I really fail to see the logic.
I also do not agree entirely with what is happening. I reckon it may have been better in the long run to have let the nation right itself.

Doubtful, Bush’s days are numbered. If McCain wins then to a fantastic degree see. That tactic is by no means beneficial to anyone except a few overpaid contractors.

well if you knew the answer already then why question the question, i reckon Bush is trying to do what he can for the excellent of the nation, really sick of the bush bashing. i would not want his job, at least he has tired in terrible world wide ecnomic times. you dont seem to realize the whole world is suffering and most of it a whole lot of poorer quality than here in america. a lot of this mess is because people bought above their means, and americans are spoiled , they have had their huge cars that dissipate gas and we dissipate food, and time. better to solve the nations problems by putting the blame where it really lies with each and each one of us.!
