It’s not that you’re board really; you do have plenty to do. When it comes to really getting the work done you’d rather be playing on the Internet. In most cases this kind of procrastination could even end your job.

If you can try and identify the core reason why you procrastinate so much. If you’re really board you need to choose whether it’s because you don’t have anything to do or because you don’t really want to do your work. It’s more likely to be you don’t want to do your work. Again this can be broken down further. It will be because it’s either too challanging or not challanging enough. Maybe you’ve been agreed a task you don’t feel you can complete or complete to a high enough standard. Look at whether any of your tasks can be automated. An example of this could be if you’re responsible for read-through out the company cars or laptops, you could automate this with software.
