How do they make money?
What is the process the business?
they get contacts, give away promotions and ads…
be sure to have contacts on catering, lighting, venues, sound systems, photographers, tailors, flower botiques, and everything else used in weddings
they make money as they get profits out of these already unfilled businesses..
thing is you really ned lots of contacts with different fee ranges and stuff
it's like an events coordinator or wedding planner business

If you mean wedding planner business then there are tons of ways to make money.
You could start a website like mine as a way to promote yourself AND make money.
They get paid for the day of as well as for any pre-plotting meetings. They charge one base fee – say $3,000 and write up a contract with details on exactly what that includes.
There are also planners who offer a day of package. They charge between $500 and $1500 and are at the event the day of the wedding to make sure everything runs smoothly. This is quite the handy service! They usually meet the bride a few months in advance to give some basic information and then a week or two prior to set the schedule for the day.
They can also make relationships with a certain number of vendors and get a certain percentage each time a bride/groom uses those specific catering, flower, etc companies.
There are ways to get qualified in being a wedding coordinator. This makes people trust you more and allows you to charge higher rates. AND, it will also give you the skills and info needed to go forward.
